TTD Chakirman assures stringent action against Conversion

Bangalore, July 9 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) Chairman B Karunakara Reddy has reiterated that all necessary steps were taken to prevent Conversion in the Temple Town.

Mr Reddy gave this assurance to TTD Committee member Vishveshathirtha swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, who is spear heading protest against Conversion during a meeting in Tirupathi held on Saturday and Sunday.

Swamiji urged TTD to take steps in the areas where Dalits and backward class people live since these people can be easily lured by the Conversionists and urged for additional steps to thwart any such attempts.

Swamiji has suggested conducting Venkateshwara Kalyanotsava in areas where Dalits and people belonging to backward class live.
