Road blockade against murder in Samastipur

Samastipur, July 9 (UNI) Irate villagers today blocked Samastipur--Dalsinghsarai main roadway in protest against the killing of a youth at Desua village under Ujiarpur police station area in the district.

Police said here that some unidentified Assailants had shot dead a villager Pawan Kumar, when he was on the way to his home last evening. Protesting against the murder, the irate mob staged a dharna and blocked Samastipur-Dalsinghsarai road affecting the traffic on the route.

Meanwhile, senior officers from civil and police adminstration rushed to the spot and were trying to remove the blockade.
