Reliance introduces schemes with free data card
Bangalore, July 9: Reliance Communications today introduced a bundled mobile internet data card to its laptop consumers, first of its kind in the country, to promote usage of mobile internet services.
Briefing newsmen here RCOM President S P Shukla (Personal Business) said the new pricing plans, including providing a data card to Reliance Netconnect customers at virtually no cost, would further enhance the value proposition of Reliance telecom services.
''We are confident that it would promote mobile internet usage among millions of laptop and PC users in coming days'', he hoped.
Replying to queries he said the company offered world's best prices for its data cards. It also gave customers a flexibility to choose from a wide range of options which among others included getting a free data card against 12 months subscription to the popular freedom plan or 24 months subscription to the swift 40 plan.
"The company had also entered into alliances with leading laptop manufacturers to bundle Reliance NetConnect Data Cards," he added.
