Bangalore, July 9 (UNI) Reliance Communications today introduced a bundled mobile internet data card to its laptop consumers, the first of its kind in the country, to promote usage of mobile internet services.

Briefing newspersons here, RCOM President S P Shukla (Personal Business) said the new pricing plans, including providing a data card to Reliance Netconnect customers at virtually no cost, would further enhance the value proposition of Reliance telecom services.

''We are confident that it would promote mobile internet usage among millions of laptop and PC users in the coming days,'' he hoped.

Mr Shukla said the company offered the world's best prices for its data cards. It also gave customers flexibility to choose from a wide range of options, which included getting a free data card against 12 months subscription to the popular freedom plan or 24 months subscription to the swift 40 plan.

The company had also entered into alliances with leading laptop manufacturers to bundle Reliance NetConnect Data Cards, he added.
