Moet Hennessy appoints Group Director, India
New Delhi, July 9 (UNI) Luxury product maker Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), today said it has appointed Mr Vispi Patel as their new Group Director, India.
Mr Patel will facilitate the Group's retail fashion brands such as Celine, Loewe and Thomas Pink to foray into the country.
He will also be responsible for starting up and developing the Group's selective retailing activities of Sephora and DFS and will co-ordinate various Group activities of different brands under one umbrella.
''India's retail story is a compelling one and the introduction of these international brands in this geography will be challenging.
I look forward to the task at hand,'' Mr Patel said in a statement.
LVMH operates through business divisions that manage brands in the various categories like wines and spirits, fashion and leather goods and watch and jewelery.
It is the world's leading luxury product group with more than 50 of the world's largest and oldest luxury brands.
