Gram Pradhan arrested for threatening woman

Pratapgarh, July 9: Police today claimed to have arrested Gram Pradhan of Dhangarh village on charge of threatening a woman in Sangramgarh area here.

Gram pradhan Ashok Kumar had threatened to beat Bodha Devi when she went to collect her cheque, three months back.

Ashok was yesterday arrested on the victim's complaint.

The accused is said to be close to Raghu Raj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, who is an MLA from Kunda.
