Two die in group clash

Berhampur, July 8 (UNI) Two persons died and one was injured in a group clash when bombs were hurled at them at Phasidi village under Khallikote police station in Ganjam district about 45-km from here yesterday.

Police identified the deceased as M Ganga Patra and K Gunni Patra. The injured Sriramulu Patra has been admitted to the MKCG Hospital here in a serious condition. The clash was the sequel to a previous enmity over the village 'Kothisala'.

Three persons hurled some bombs on the house of Jogi Patra killing his sister K Gunni on the spot after Jogi Patra hurled a bomb over M Ganga Patra and Sriramulu Patra when they were riding a motor cycle killing Ganga Patra.

The family members of K Gunni have lodged a FIR in the police station against Hemant Patra, B Bantha Patra and Sriramulu Patra.
