Seven suspended for corruption
Mahoba, July 8 (UNI) At least seven people were suspended, including district programme official on charges of corruption and irregularities in the appointment of 'Anganwadi' workers and assistants under Child Development and Nutrition Department.
District Magistrate J P Mishra today told UNI that a five-member-team under Land Preservation Department deputy director J C Katiyar was formed to probe into the matter.
In the inquiry, gross irregularities were detected in appointment process, publication of vacancies, maintaining records, Mr Mishra apprised.
The district programme official Pushpa Guldev, Satya Bhabha Pandey, Shahnaz Parveen, Geeta Devi and senior clerk Suresh Kumar kashyap were suspended yesterday in this regard.
