Man's suicidal jump kills kid

Chennai, July 8 (UNI) A seven-year-old boy was killed after a man, who jumped off an apartment building, fell on him at Royapuram here last night.

Police said Jayakanthan (28) jumped off the third floor of an apartment building apparently to commit suicide and landed on Mustaq Ali, who was returning home after attending tuition.

While Jayakanthan died on the spot, the child succumbed to his injuries in a hospital, police added.
