Four Bangladeshis held

New Delhi, July 8 (UNI) The Delhi Police have arrested four Bangladeshi youths and foiled their alleged attempt to loot a petrol pump in Mandawali Area of East Delhi.

Acting on a tip-off from in charge of the Anti-Auto theft squad, East district, Inspector N S Chauhan that four armed youths were hiding in bushes near Sararwati Kunj society in Mandawali, a police team, headed by Sub-Inspecor Ajay Yadav, yesterday raided the site and held the accused.

The four youths, identified as Karamat, Jahangir, Alamgir and Zakir, were planning to loot Shivam Auto Centre in East Delhi.

A pistol, one knife, one mobile phone, one dagger, one iron rod, 31 US dollars were recovered from their posession.

A case under sections 399, 402 of the IPC, sections 25, 54, 59 of the Arms Act and section 14 of the Foreigners Act have been registered against them.
