Cong groups come to blows

Hyderabad, July 8 (UNI) Groupism in Congress in Andhra Pradesh took an ugly turn today when two groups clashed over an alleged insult to one of the leaders.

Police said one of the groups abused Khairatabad MLA P Janardhan Reddy when he and his followers were attending a private function in the Banjara Hills Area.

Mr Reddy's irate followers attacked the rival groups and damaged a vehicle. City police rushed to the spot and deployed forces to maintain law and order.
