Buddha and Manik greet Basu

Agartala, July 8 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and his Tripura counterpart Manik Sarkar today conveyed their heartfelt greetings to veteran Communist leader Jyoti Basu on his 94th birthday.

'' As soon as I reached Agartala, me and Manik wished Mr Basu over phone for his long and healthy life, '' said Mr Bhattacharjee during a public rally here.

Thanking the duo, Mr Basu hoped the rally would be successful.
