Bihar mourns Chandra Shekhar's death
Patna, July 8 (UNI) Bihar government today announced three days of state mourning over the sudden death of former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar from July 8 to 10.
All official functions would remain suspended during the mourning. Government educational institutions would also remain closed tomorrow.
Official sources here said the state government had announced to pay homage to the former Prime Minister.
The national flag would ply at half mast on all government offices and buildings.
The Chief Minister's weekly Junta Durbar and state cabinet meeting scheduled for July 10, had also been suspended.
