Airtel announces win a car contest in HP

Shimla, July 8: Airtel, India's leading mobile service provider, today announced a 'win a car contest' for its prepaid and postpaid customers in Himachal Pradesh, putting on line a Hyundai Santro, a Maruti Alto and a Maruti 800 besides 200 Nokia 1110 mobile handsets.

Bharti's state Chief Operating Officer R V S Bhullar said Airtel customers could participate in the contest by simply dialling 64640 and answering questions on general knowledge and Hindi movies. Ten points would be awarded on each correct answer and at the end of the contest, the three highest scorers would be declared the winner of the cars.

He added that a customer could enter the contest innumerable times, until August 19 when the contest closes, to increase his chances of winning the prize.

A single call of one minute to participate in the contest would cost Rs six, he said.
