2 killed as truck dashed into tree

Lucknow, July 8 (UNI) Two people were killed and as many grievously injured after a speeding mini truck rammed into a roadside tree in Mohanlalganj area of the Uttar Pradesh capital today.

The ill-fated vehicle, on way to Mirzapur, dashed into a roadside tree on Lucknow-Allahabad highway, killing two passengers on the spot.

The injured were rushed to hospital in a critical condition, police said.

The deceased were identified as Rohit (15) and Surajmal (20).
