2 fresh cases against Azam Khan

Bareilly, July 8 (UNI) Two fresh cases were today registered against senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and former Uttar Pradesh Urban Development Minister Mohd Azam Khan.

Khan has been booked for bulldozing the house of Raeesa Begam, resident of Ghatampur village of Rampur district, on September 22, 2005.

Another case was registered by Akhlakh Miya of Kotwalan colony, accusing Khan and two others for bulldozing his shop, Police Inspector General of Bareilly zone, Gurbachan Lal said.

About seven cases had been registered against Khan, in the last three weeks, in which five were recorded in Azim Nagar area of Rampur district.

Besides, former district administrator, sub divisonal magistrate, tehsildaar and an engineer had also been booked under the same cases.
