Woman shot dead by robbers

Ferozabad, July 7 (UNI) An aged woman died and two others sustained grievous wounds, when armed robbers fired indiscriminate shots at Uttar area here today.

According to police, a commission agent Subhash Jain was carrying some cash, when the miscreants waylaid him.

However, he ran inside his house and was pursued by the robbers.

In desperation, the miscreants started firing, killing Mala Jain (70) on the spot.

Subhash's wife and his daughter were also wounded.

Later, the criminals fled in a motorcycle.

A manhunt had been launched to nab the culprits.
