Woman killed by relatives

Muzaffarnagar, July 7 (UNI) A woman was killed by her own relatives in Jaansath area here. Police today said, Saagra's relatives were against her marriage with Hasan Abbas of Chituda village.

Hasan had married Saagra without divorcing his first wife.

The angry relatives late last night attacked the couple with a sharp-edged weapon and also shot at them.

While, Saagra died on the spot, Hasan was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.

A case had been registered against five persons and an investigation was on.
