Tin, nickel dip on poor demand
Mumbai, July 7 (UNI) Tin slab and nickel cathode fell on poor industrial demand, traders at the Bombay Metal Exchange said today.
Tin slab and nickel cathode fell by Rs five and Rs 25 per kg on thin buying support.
Following are the spot metal prices per quintal: Ferrous metals: Copper heavy - Rs 35,200, Copper utensils - Rs 32,000, Brass utensils - Rs 25,600, Brass cuttings - Rs 27,500 and Aluminium utensils - Rs 11,400.
Non-ferrous metals: Copper wire bars - Rs 38,700, Aluminium ingots - Rs 13,400, Zinc slabs - Rs 18,200, Lead ingots - Rs 10,500, Tin slab - Rs 695 (per kg) and Nickel cathode - Rs 1,650 (per kg).
