Three killed, 12 injured in separate accidents
Srinagar, July 7 (UNI) Three persons were killed and twelve others were wounded in the Kashmir valley today, a police spokesman said.
He said a 15-year-old Shahid Ahmad Gojri drowned in river Jehlum near Drangbal today.
One Nirmal Singh, a resident of Amrtisar, Punjab, found dead in his room at Kralpora, Kupwara this morning.
In a another incident, vehicle hit and criticaly wounded Avinees Singh, a resident of Rajouri, at Sonmarg. He was admitted to hospital where he died.
A passenger vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle at Zodder crossing on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway causing injuries to nine persons. The injured were hospitalised.
Three other persons were injured in other road accidents, spokesman said.
A migrant house of Raja Opinder Krishan Koul was gutted in a fire incident at silk factory road here.
