Bangalore, July 7: Bangalore police are yet to trace evidence linking members of local terrorist outfit in the city with the Glasgow Airport attack suspects of whom three Bangaloreans, including two doctors have been detained in London and Australia.

City Police Commission N Achuth Rao told newsmen that the police was only gathering evidence and analysing them besides reporting to the Intelligence Bureau. No incriminating evidence had been found so far, he added.

A senior official, however, told sources that the possibility of the link between the foiled Glasgow Airport attack and the 2005 Indian Institute of Sciences shootout was also being probed.

Mr Rao also said that the investigations would continue.

Replying to another question he said the Police had not been contacted by their counterparts in London in connection with the foiled attack.

The Commissioner denied reports that Maqbool Ahmed, father of detained siblings Sabeel and Kafeel had admitted that Kafeel was the driver of the burning jeep at the Glasgow attack. He said he had not received any such information from the probing team.

Maqbool Ahmed, who briefly appeared in interviews to television channels had not been quizzed by the police yet as it had been stated that he had been 'mentally disturbed' and was not in a position to speak.
