Gangster Act against Raja Bhaiya's accomplice

Pratapgarh, July 7: Under the operation initiated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati to register all the torture and harassment cases in last three years, several cases have been registered against close accomplice of district's former minister and Kunda MLA Raghunath Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya.

Police today said, Raja Bhaiya's former Public Relation Officer (PRO) Rajeev Kumar Yadav and 11 others have been booked under the Gangster Act at Manikpur police station.

Prominent among them are Maudapur village Pradhan Gulshan Yadav, his brother Chavi Nath Yadav and district panchayat member Rajesh Singh.

Raja Bhaiya's close aides Dr Kailash Nath Ojha, President Cooperative Bank and K P Inter College Principal Lal Bahadur Singh have also been booked for harassment.
