Education Worldwide India Fair opens

Noida, July 7 (UNI) Some 40 educational institutions including six international organisations came under one roof to guide thousands of students choose their career option and even prepare them for alternative choices.

''Through this two-day 'Education Worldwide India Fair', we are providing a platform where both students and education institutions will benefit by interacting with each other,'' Global Events and Expositions Pvt Ltd Operation Head Yashraj Chouhan told UNI.

The two-day fair at Hotel Radisson here will conclude tomorrow giving students an opportunity to explore various career options.

The institutions will also be able to sieve out eligible aspirants, he added.

Mr Chouhan said he expects a footfall of 3,000-4,000 to the event.

Some of the prominent institutions participating in the fair include Royal School of Management and Technology, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Air Hostess Pvt Ltd, Delhi Business School, Asian Academy of Film and Television, Indira Gandhi National Open University, ICFAI, AIMA, Centre for Civil Aviation Academy etc.

Indian Air Force and the Indian Army are also a part of the event.

A 12th grade student from Sainik School, who aspires to join the army, said ''This fair helped me to explore various other options which I can pursue if I don't make it to the army.'' Students can also look for admission to foreign institutions in Singapore, the UK, France, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, the US, Switzerland, Germany, Russia and Scotland.

The event offers the students information about the courses as well as procurement of education loans under the same roof.

''We are expecting around 200 loan applicants per day,'' said IDBI Ltd Assistant Manager Akhouri Ashutosh Sinha.
