CPMT counselling from tomorrow in UP

Jaunpur, July 7 (UNI) The Combined Pre Medical Test (CPMT)-2007 conselling would commence from July 8 to 11 in various parts of the state.

Dr R K Yadav, the convenor of the CPMT 2007 cell in Jaunpur's Veer Bahadur Singh Poorvanchal University, which conducted the examination, will oversee the counselling work, official sources said here today.

Besides, Assistant Registrar (Administration) Amrendra Singh would assist him in the work.

Meanwhile, information related to counselling could be obtained from the CPMT cell on two numbers: 05452-252563 and 05452-252564.

The CPMT results were re-declared after alleged irregularities were detected in them. The Uttar Pradesh government had with-held the results and set-up a probe team into the matter.

Technical errors were found in the evaluation process. Taking moral responsibilty for the matter, Vice Chancellor Prof K P Singh had resigned from his post.
