British-era coins found at Manmad!
Nashik, July 7: As many as 15 silver coins from the British-era have been found in a ruined house near Maruti road in Athwade bazar at Manmad, about 80 km from here.
According to reports, Shahnawaz Akbar Shah, a Class V student of Manorama Sadan School and a resident of Takar mohall area, was playing with his friends in a ruined house of one Mr Gundecha, on Thursday when they found a leather bag in the mud, containing some silver coins belonging to the British-era.
The children distributed the coins among themselves, but Shahnawaz told about this incident to his uncle Zafar Shah, who collected all the coins from the children and handed them over to PI Shrinivas Patil of Manmad police station.
