Delhi: Minor fire breaks out in Metro train
New Delhi, July 6: A fire broke out in a Metro train early today in Shadipur area, while it was on a trial run, an official spokesperson said.
The incident occurred at 0130hrs. ''There was a lot of smoke generation in the AC chamber. But there has been no casualties or injuries to anyone,'' he said.
Fire service officials described the fire as ''minor'' and said there has not much damage to property. Four fire tenders were deployed and the situation was brought under control in less than an hour, they said.
