Four killed in mudslide

Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh , July 6 (UNI) Four people, including three women, were killed and two others injured in a mudslide near Mupkal village of Balkonda mandal, in the district today.

Police said four labourers were engaged in the construction of SRSP flood canal when a huge amount of mud fell on them. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.

The district officials rushed to the spot and took measures to prevent such accidents along the canal site.
