Farmer commits suicide
Mysore, July 6 (UNI) A 57-year old farmer of Beemanahalli in H D Kote taluk committed suicide by taking pesticide as he was unable to repay the loans taken from banks.
Police said that Nagabhushan Aradhya, who had taken loans of Rs two lakh from cooperative banks and money lenders, resorted to the extreme step of ending his life for his inability to repay the loan.
Mysore district Incharge Minister G T Devegowda visited the village and assured for compensation at the earliest.
