Body found hanging from tree

Sangrur, July 6 (UNI) An unidentified body was found hanging from a tree in Kannoi village of Sangrur district today.

Superintendent of Police (HQ) Dharam Singh said the deceased, whose body was found hanging from a mulberry tree on the village outskirts, appeared to be a migrant labourer aged about 28 years.

Police gathered the migrant labourers working in the area to identify the deceased but none of them could do so. A case was registered and the police was investigating the matter.
