Accused acquitted in double murder case

Madurai, July 6 (UNI) A local court today acquitted 14 persons in connection with a double murder case.

Fast Track Court III Judge Savithri acquitted Alaguraja and 13 others in the case relating to the murder of Sundar and Jayaraman.

The duo were killed on 25 May, 1998 and a case registered by the Karimedu Police Station.

Incidentally, the first witness in the case, Karate Pandiarajan, was killed in a bomb blast in 2005.
