3487 pilgrims leave for Amarnath shrine

Jammu, July 6: The fifth batch of 3487 pilgrims left Jammu base camp for Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas this morning, official sources said.

A 100 vehicle convoy carrying Amarnath yatris, including 2502 men, 679 women, 204 Sadhus and 102 children, left for Nunwan and Baltal yatra camps at 0545 hrs, sources said.
