Narsinghpur, MP, July 5 (UNI) MLA Jalam Singh Patel, who was suspended from BJP, today charged that the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh was harassing the supporters of Bhartiya Jan Shakti founder Uma Bharti and said Gotegaon Krishi Upaj Mandi President Daduram Patel was removed from his post on filmsy ground.

''The BJP government was irked by unveiling of freedom fighter Rani Avanti Bai's statue by Ms Bharti at the Mandi premises. Mr Patel, an Uma Bharti supporter, was dismissed on false charges'', Mr J S Patel told reporters here today.

Mr Patel, who was suspended from BJP, said this incident revealed that the supporters of Ms Bharti were being harassed due to animosity.

BJS General Secretary Prahlad Patel's younger brother claimed that the Mandi President was earlier coaxed by local BJP leaders to maintain distance with BJS to save his chair.

''Removal of Mr Patel as Mandi chief on financial and other irregularities will be contested in the court and wished that Mr Patel will get the justice'' , he said.
