NIIT to expand training network in Vietnam
New Delhi, July 5: Country's top computer education firm National Institute for Information Technology (NIIT) is mulling to spread its education network in Vietnam.
''NIIT will work with the Vietnamese Industry and the Academia to help build their IT skill base, in the spirit of partnership,'' company's President (Global Individual Learning Business) G Raghavan said today.
Mr Raghavan met Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, who is on a three-day visit to India, to boost bilateral ties between both the countries, and highlighted NIIT's commitment to inclusively build IT Talent in Vietnam.
Outlining the company's plans for the region, he said NIIT is looking at partnering with leading colleges and universities in Vietnam to reach out to a large number of students and help them gain IT skills.
Since 1991, NIIT has been preparing the Vietnamese youth in IT skills through its network of over two dozen education centres in 13 provinces.
