Murli Industries Q4 profit up by 46.50 per cent

Mumbai, Jul 5 (UNI) Nagpur-based Murli Industries Limited, a diversified business group engaged in agro business, paper, power and cement, have announced a 40.50 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 9.21 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007 as against net profit of Rs. 6.56 crore recorded in the same period of last fiscal.

The net sales for the quarter rose by 1.39 per cent to Rs 154.20 crore as compared to Rs 152.08 crore posted in 4th quarter of FY-06.

The net profit for the year ended March 31, 2007 surged by 46.81 per cent Rs 41.11 crore as compared to Rs 28.00 crore witnessed in FY06, while the net sales for the year ended March 31, 2007 witnessed a jump of 2.64 per cent to Rs 523.93 crore as against Rs 510.46 crore recorded in the same period of last fiscal.
