Man looted in Anand
Anand, July 5 (UNI) A man was allegedly looted of his personal belongings at knife point by four unidentified persons at Gamdi village on the outskirts of the city.
Girish V Patel was having an omelette at a roadside larri on Amul Dairy road near Gurudwara circle last night, when the foursome arrived in an autorickshaw and stopped near him. One of them flashed a knife and pressed it against Girishbhai's stomach, while another placed a knife on his neck and dragged him into the auto and took him to Mahavir joppadpatti near Sastrybaugh, where he was beaten and then relieved of his gold ring, tulsi mala and his wristwatch.
Anand police have registered a complaint against the four unknown men under IPC 297, 365, 342,223 and 506.
