L J Hooker to expand its Indian operation

Bangalore, July 5: To cash in on the real estate boom prevailing in the Indian cities, Australian real estate major L J Hooker has plan to open new offices by appointing franchises.

Announcing the opening of the second office in the city, the company official Ramneek Bakshi told presspersons that the company had made a foray into India by setting up its first office in the city and now plans to expand across the country.

''L J Hooker has a strong international reputation and having 730 offices, mainly in Asia-Pacific countries, and is known for its expertise and professionalism in real estate industry. Unlike the neighbouring real estate agent, Hooker is a professionally managed company which has expertise in property management and selling financial instruments like home loans,'' he said.

He said the company manages properties for those who owned properties in the cities where they did not live. ''Our servies can be very helpful to NRIs and other people who hold properties in different places. We cater to all their needs from buying, selling, collecting rents and paying taxes,'' he added.
