I-FLAPP unveils Personal and Portable Solution

Bangalore, July 5: Singapore based start up I-Flapp Technologies Pvt Ltd today unveiled the countrys first successful Personal and Portable Solution for storage devices.

The Solution was launched here today in the presence of J Parthasarathy, Director, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) Bangalore and Prof. Sadagopan, Founder-Director, IIIT-B. The product was expected to usher in a new revolution in the personal computing market by squeezing most of PC's desktop applications onto external storage medias like SD card, USB pen drive, HDD and was targeted at US dollar three billion global end user market.

The I-Flapp enabled smart drive enabled user to carry popular applications like Photoshop CS2 9.0, complete suite of Microsoft office 2003/XP, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and mail clients like Microsoft Outlook (2003/xp) and Lotus notes among others.

Later talking to newsmen Mr Sunder Mani, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, I-Flapp Technologies "I-Flapp's Apps-D was developed out of India by a small team of highly committed professionals which points to the latent potential which we are still to unearth in India. The product idea occurred to me in 2005 when I could see the globalisation of business, increased mobility of professionals and increasing dependence on technology applications, combining to create a new user market for a plug-and-play product that would make any storage device a functional PC on the move. This application will revolutionise the personal computing space where the user could replicate their PC environment and applications easily and securely anywhere anytime.
