Govt. to implement Total Energy Security Mission: Minister
Thiruvananthapuram, July 5 (UNI) The Kerala Government is planning to implement a ''Total Energy Security Mission'' in the state to ensure availability of energy, Electricity Minister A K Balan told the Assembly today.
The object of the Mission was to ensure minimum energy of 365 units of electricity and eight LPG cylinder cocking energy to a family as perscribed by the Planning Commission according to the availability of energy in the 11th five-year plan, he said in a written reply.
The Mssion, planned by the State Planning Board with the energy sector in the 11th five-year plan, also aimed at electrification of all the houses in the state, he added.
