Employment issues with Qatar and Kuwait to be streamlined

New Delhi, July 5 (UNI) A scheme that would benefit the un-skilled, semi-skilled and skilled Indian workers employed in Kuwait and Qatar would be put in place soon.

The Cabinet today gave its ex-post facto approval for signing the MoU on labour, employment and manpower development between Kuwait and India. The MOU was signed on April 10, 2007 between Kuwait and India.

The Cabinet also gave its approval for signing Additional Protocol to the agreement on the regulation of the employment of Indian manpower between Qatar and India. The agreement was signed on April 11, 1985.
