3 independent members form separate group in Council

Bangalore, July 5 (UNI) Three independent members of the Karnataka Legislative Council have been recognised as a separate group with Mr Marithibbe Gowda as its leader.

Announcing this in the House, Council Chairman B K Chandrasekhar said he had received a letter from the three members requesting him to recognise them as a separate group.

Besides Mr Gowda, the other members were Mr Narayanaswamy and Mr G K Patil. They were elected to the House from teachers constituencies.
