NDA still hopeful of Third Front support: Sushma

Jaipur, July 4: The NDA is still hopeful of the Third Front'ssupport in the July 19 Presidential polls for Independent nomineeVice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, his spokesperson Sushma Swarajsaid.

Talking to reporters here today, Ms Swaraj said that she wasexpecting positive response from the Third Front after July 9 whenThird Front leader former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N ChandrababuNaidu returns from abroad.

Ms Swaraj said that Third Front leaders' meeting was likely to beheld after July 9 on Mr NaiduF's return and she was sure that the frontwould lend its support to Mr Shekhawat.

However, Shiv Sena had conveyed its final decision over the issueand since then there was no dialogue with that party, she added.
