Precious metals decline: Bombay Bullion Assn

Mumbai, July 2: Silver and gold today resumed on a weak note due to lack of fresh demand in the opening session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the opening rates of Spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs 17,315, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,590, Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 8,640.
