Natural gas and chana trade high on commodity exchange
New Delhi, July 2 (UNI) Following are the details of the commodities market: At NCDEX trading up to 1700 hrs and volumes were Rs 2,343 crore (one-way).
There were more than 71,184 trades put through by them. Active trades were high in among others in guarseeds, chana, jeera, pepper, soya oil and rape mustard seed.
The near July futures for Brent crude registered a previous closing of Rs 2,889. The quantity traded today is 21,500 barrel in 126 trades worth Rs 621.47 lakh.
On the MCX gold, natural gas and zinc saw high trades with crude oil for near July futures opening at Rs 2,863. Brent crude for near July futures opened at Rs 2,863 per barrel and is last trading at Rs 2,835. Natural Gas opened at Rs 276.50 per mmBtu and the last trading price is at Rs 269.80 mmBtu.
MCXCOMDEX is down 1.60 points and trading at Rs 2,138.13 while MCXMETAL was up 23.89 points to have an LTP of Rs 2,491.86.
MCXENERGY and MCXAGRI were both down 27.59 points and 1.76 points to trade at Rs 2,192.61 and Rs 1,748.51.
In the NCME out of 192 series of 71 commodities, futures contracts on 13 series got traded. The total volume is 9,146 lots with a turnover of Rs 92.06 crores.
