IDBI appoints Mr Yogesh Agarwal as new CMD

New Delhi, July 2: Industrial Development Bank of India Ltd (IDBI) today appointed Mr Yogesh Agarwal as the Chairman and Managing Director of the bank taking over Mr V P Shetty.

The appointment comes into effect from yesterday, it said in a statement.

Mr Shetty was ceased to be the Chairman and Managing Director of the bank on attaining the age of superannuation with effect from the close of office hours on June 30, 2007, the statement added.
