Fire at parcel godown in Howrah station

Kolkata, July 2 (UNI) A minor fire broke out at a parcel godown in Howrah station tonight, however, there was no casualty, fire brigade sources said.

The fire which was broke out at 2015 hours following a short circuit at the parcel godown on platform No. 16 was doused soon by the firefighters. Two fire engines were pressed into service to fight the fire.

There was not much damage to the godown in the fire, official sources added.
