Collision b/w two buses leaves 6 dead in UP

Lucknow, July 2: At least six people were killed and over 12 others grievously injured after a speeding Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus collided head-on with another bus in the Tilhar area of Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police said the UPSRTC bus, en route from Gorakhpur to New Delhi, rammed into an oncoming bus, on the way to Lucknow from Bareilly, near Banthra village, killing four passengers on the spot.

The critically injured were rushed to hospital, where two succumbed to their injuries. The rest were said to be in serious condition and there was a possibility of them being shifted to some other hospital.
