Bihar: Two drown in boat mishap

Chapra, Jun 30: Two people drowned when a boat ferrying four passengers capsized mid-stream in the Saryu near Tiwari Ghat here today.

Police said the boat, also carrying 13 heads of cattle, capsized as the animals became restless. While two people swam to safety, two others, including a cattle trader, went missing.

All the 13 cattle,however,swam ashore. Later bodies of the two victims were fished out of the river.

The boat was ferrying the animals to a cattle fair on the other side of the river.
