Three year jail term for RJD MP Shahabuddin

Siwan, June 30: A Special court here today sentenced incarcerated RJD MP Md Shahabuddin to three-years imprisonment in connection with a case relating to the recovery of stolen vehicles.

First class judicial magistrate V V Gupta convicted the MP in the case under sections 411 and 418 of IPC and sentenced him to three years in jail. The vehicles were recovered from Shahabuddin's house at Pratapur village.

The court, however, acquitted him in another case for lack of evidence.
