Sonia wants to remote control President, PM: Jayalalithaa

New Delhi, June 30 (UNI) Ms J Jayalalithaa, AIADMK Chief and leader of the newly-floated Third Front christened as the United National Progressive Alliance (UNPA), has charged Congress President Sonia Gandhi with trying to ''remote control'' the offices of both the President and the Prime Minister.

''Sonia Gandhi now wants to remote control both the Prime Minister and the President,'' the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister told TIMES NOW news channel in an interview.

She made the remark in reply to a question relating to the choice of the UPA on its Presidential candidate.

Earlier, she had described UPA's candidate Pratibha Patil as ''a joke'' played on the nation by Ms Gandhi.
