Sahib's body to be kept for Darshan at BJP HQ

New Delhi, Jun 30 (UNI) The body of former Delhi Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma will be brought here and kept for a ''darshan'' at BJP Headquarters, party sources said here today.

The Mr Verma was killed in a road accident near Shajapur in Rajasthan when the Tata Safari in which he was travelling collided head-on with a mini-truck. Three of the Five occupants, including Mr Verma, died on the spot.

Sources said the most likely Mr Verma would be cremated tomorrow itself at the Nigambodh Ghats.

The news about the death of 64 year old Verma, who held a vast respect in the rural areas of Delhi and adjoining states, shocked the BJP and its supporters who thronged the party headquarters and the residence of Mr Verma to express their grief and condole the family members.
